STATEMENT OF FAITH

This statement is not shaped for debate but stands as a declaration of essential truths that uphold the fullness of the Gospel. While it does not encompass all biblical teachings, it firmly establishes the core doctrines of the Christian faith, serving as the foundation for a Christ-centered life and ministry. It reflects the timeless authority of God’s Word and the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit.

CORE BELIEFS

HOLY BIBLE

The Holy Bible is the sole, authoritative Word of God, the ultimate standard for all doctrinal truth. In its original form, it is divinely inspired, infallible, and without error—standing as the unchanging foundation of faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26).

TRINITY

There is one true God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. United in essence, they are co-equal, co-eternal, and fully divine, working in perfect harmony to fulfill God’s redemptive plan (1 John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. While on earth, He was fully God and fully man, the only one to live a sinless life. Born of a virgin, He demonstrated divine authority through miracles, sacrificed Himself on the cross for the redemption of mankind, and atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. On the third day, He rose from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return in power and glory (John 1:1,14; 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; 1 Timothy 2:5).

SALVATION

Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection. It is not earned by good works or human effort but granted freely through His redemptive sacrifice (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22).

REPENTANCE

Repentance is a heartfelt commitment to turn away from sin and surrender fully to Christ. It opens the door to His redemption, allowing us to be renewed by the Holy Spirit. Through true repentance, we receive forgiveness of sins and walk in the fullness of salvation (Acts 2:21, 3:19; 1 John 1:9).

JESUS' BLOOD

The sinless blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the Cross of Calvary, is fully sufficient to cleanse humanity from all sin. By taking upon Himself the punishment for our sinfulness, He made a way for all who believe to be set free from sin’s penalty—spiritual and eternal death (1 John 1:7; Revelation 1:5, 5:9; Colossians 1:20; Romans 3:10-12, 23, 5:9; John 1:29).

JESUS INDEWELLS IN ALL
BELIEVERS

JESUS INDEWELLS IN ALL BELIEVERS

Christians are those who invite Jesus Christ to dwell within them through the Holy Spirit, surrendering their lives to His lordship. By trusting in His death, burial, and resurrection, they walk in His grace, guidance, and transforming power (John 1:12; John 14:17, 23; John 15:4; Romans 8:11; Revelation 3:20).

BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

First given at Pentecost, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is the Father’s promise, sent by Jesus after His Ascension, to empower the Church to proclaim the Gospel across the earth. It equips believers with divine strength, boldness, and spiritual gifts for ministry (Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5, 2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6).

THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit manifests Himself through diverse spiritual gifts, given to strengthen and sanctify the Church, affirm the power of the Gospel, and testify to the reality of Christ’s resurrection. While Scripture provides various lists of these gifts, they are not necessarily exhaustive and may be expressed in different ways. Believers are encouraged to seek and cultivate these gifts, ensuring they align with God’s Word and are exercised following biblical principles (Hebrews 2:4; Romans 1:11, 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:16; 2 Timothy 1:5-6, 4:14; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; 1 Peter 4:10).

HEALING OF THE SICK

Healing is a divine promise, demonstrated through the life and ministry of Jesus and included in His commission to His disciples. It serves as a sign of faith for believers and is an extension of Christ’s redemptive work on the Cross. Healing is also one of the gifts of the Spirit, revealing God’s power and compassion (Psalm 103:2-3; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:17-18; Acts 8:6-7; James 5:14-16; 1 Corinthians 12:9, 28; Romans 11:29).

RESURRECTION

Jesus Christ was physically resurrected in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross, confirming His victory over sin and death. Likewise, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected—those who are saved to eternal life, and those who are lost to eternal separation from God (Luke 24:16, 36, 39; John 2:19-21, 20:26-28, 21:4; Acts 24:15; 1 Corinthians 15:42, 44; Philippians 1:21-23, 3:21).
